Emblem of the APEC 2025 KOREA

The emblem is inspired by a butterfly moving from flower to flower, symbolizing its contribution to the prosperity of the ecosystem. The butterfly represents how APEC connects member economies, ultimately contributing to the greater prosperity of the Asia-Pacific region. Furthermore, the flutter of its wings represents the innovation and transformation that will promote greater prosperity.

On the right side of the emblem is the ‘Sumaksae’, a roof-end tile that welcomes APEC members to Korea with the timeless smile of Silla.
